next saturday may 19 there will be NO elephantsounds because of the Counterculture festival which is going on in transwijk. (more info on the festival: http://www.festival-utrecht.nl/). June 16th will be the next date for the elephants in the Acu! And sat june 2 we will play in Tivoli de Helling, together with a motherload of soundsystems from utrecht (sideburn, skank around etc.). Further..there will be a soundclash with a famous local hiphopcrew at dbs on june 9th...stay tuned for more news on that one...

DUB INFUSIONS :: A DUBSTEP SPECIAL
Dub Infusions presenteert met trots de eerste Dubstep Special in de Helling, en wat een special is het geworden! Met Youngsta, Geeneus en D1 hebben we de top van de dubstepwereld in huis gehaald.
Youngsta begon reeds op zijn 12e met draaien en geldt nu, acht jaar later, als de meester der meesters dubstep deejays. Ogenschijnlijk zonder moeite draait hij de vetste sub-bass mixen aan elkaar. Niet voor niets stond hij al garant voor twee van de vier edities van de befaamde Tempa verzamelaars “ Dubstep Allstars.” Gruwelijk goed!
Ook D1 kreeg muziek met de paplepel ingegoten: als zoon van een techno producer liep hij als jonkie al alle platenzaken en feesten af. Nadat Youngsta hem de gouwe ouwe Highland Spring” van Hatcha vs Horsepower “liet horen, was D1 verkocht. Na twee jaar oefenen kreeg hij zijn eerste break en sindsdien staan alle groten in de wereld te trappelen voor een nieuwe dubplate van de hand van D1.
Geeneus is beter bekend als grime producer Wizzbit en scoorde onder die naam al vele hits, waaronder “Jam Hot.” Als Geeneus doet hij het ook lang niet slecht. Met “Dark Boy” scoorde hij ook in de dubstepwereld een dijk van een hit. Massive!
Dubstep adepten Cold Sweat en Nuno dos Santos besloten de handen ineen te slaan en zullen deze avond openen met een zeer dynamische dubstep set.
Laat je niet van de wijs brengen door de zondag: het is Pinksteren dus iedereen is lekker vrij de dag erna!

Phhhhew,last saturday we experienced the slowest start of an Elephant party ever, but what a great party it turned out to be after 02.00 o' clock! But hey, if the mighty King Shiloh Soundsystem is in town, we don't blame ya for checking them out too! I know we would've done so if we only could..Thanks to everybody that came out to party and stuck with us 'till as late as 06.30! Enjoy the pics..
Robbie Roots headlines Elephant Sounds
Holland's most famous roots dj, Robbie Roots, is coming over from Rotterdam to join us in another Roots'n Culture experience. Whenever there is a reggaeconcert inna Hollan' you're bound to bump into Robbie, cause he's always there sporting his "RobbieRoots" jacket and taking pictures. Due to his longstanding relationship with reggaemusic he's got more soundbites, dubplates and overall good music then any other dj, yet he remains cool about it. Genuine nice guy, this Robbie caracter.
So stop by and party with Junior Ozzie, Cold Sweat and Robbie this saturday!
