On december 7th the Elephant Soundmen are back at Ekko again for a fine fine reggae bash. Special guests tonight are APACHE SOUND & EAST AFRICAN SOUND.
Apache is making waves in Holland with their own style. Like the Elephants they play anything, from the old to the new. Apache is known for spicing up their selection with some great mc'ing. Fans of Sean Paul and SuperCat should def come and check this out!
East African Sound is a well known player on the Utrecht reggae scene. At his own Reggae Party at K-Sjot (Utrecht), dj Erick is known to rock the crowd with his great selection of the latest roots and rockers hits. Occasionally he tries to sneak in an African tune. After all, roots are roots, innit?
The Elephant will host the party in their own style. Dancehall, roots, ska, dub and one drops will get a rinse, which will certainly inspire Junja Ozzie to pick up the mic and sing. Forward!
